Supported by the ‘Networked Learning Conference Consortium‘, hanfod.NL is a phenomenological learned society I co-founded with Dr Mike Johnson (Cardiff University) in 2020. Phenomenology is the study of individuals’ direct experiences and perceptions, focusing on how things appear to them through their senses and consciousness.
About our name: “hanfod” is Cymraeg for the phenomenological term ‘essence’, or to originate from; whereas “NL” stands for networked learning.
