Connecting Knowledge, Capability and Change
Organisational Development | Learning & Capability | Innovation & Enterprise | Research into Practice
I’m Dr Felicity Healey-Benson. Across more than 25 years, I’ve worked with organisations, leaders, educators and communities to build capability, navigate change and turn strategy, evidence and ideas into practical action. My career has taken me from continuous improvement and operational systems through organisational performance and senior Learning & Development leadership, into higher education, research, enterprise and cross-sector collaboration.
Today, through Emergent Thinkers™, I work particularly where challenges cross conventional boundaries — connecting people and perspectives, making sense of complexity, building capability and helping good ideas become useful practice.
The work
Organisational Development & Capability
Strengthening leadership, learning, organisational capability and the conditions for people and organisations to perform and adapt.

Innovation, Enterprise & Systems Change
Bringing people and perspectives together around complex challenges, from organisational and educational innovation to place-based and community ecosystems.
Research into Practice
Turning research, evidence and frameworks into useful tools, professional learning, informed decisions and practical change.
Selected work
Behind these themes is work across industry, public services, housing, universities, schools, professional bodies, SMEs and international partnerships.
The Living Archive
Emergent Thinkers began in 2018 as a space for thinking, inquiry and connection. The Living Archive now documents that continuing journey across phenomenology, systems thinking, entrepreneurial learning, sustainability, education, professional practice and much more.
It isn’t separate from my professional work. It is where many of the ideas, questions and connections behind that work have been explored and developed.
Curious? There are many ways into the work.
